Denver Regional Council of Governments staff invite businesses, government agencies, nonprofits and residents to attend its annual awards celebration Wednesday, August 26, at the Seawell Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

The awards celebration honors people, projects, plans and programs that strengthen the Denver region. Awards categories recognize regional cooperation, innovation, problem-solving and expanding commute choice.

The event begins with a 5:30 p.m. social hour, followed by dinner and the awards program at 7 p.m. Individual registration costs $89 per person. Register to attend or sponsor the celebration at the event site.

Winners will be honored with Metro Vision Awards, Distinguished Service Awards, Way to Go Awards and the John V. Christensen Memorial Award.
