The credit does not include investments in telework and flexible work arrangements. Buying, using or improving property is also not allowed (installing bike racks, for example, is not allowed). Finally, you cannot use the credit for electric charging stations or any workday travel.

Google commits to green commuting by increasing transportation options.
Boulder's Google office worked with Way to Go partners, Boulder Chamber - BTC and Commuting Solutions, by launching programs to support eco-friendly commuting. Google chose to cover the cost of the RTD EcoPass and B-cycle memberships for all 1,300+ Boulder employees, as well as the cost of vanpools and the Guaranteed Ride Home program. They also offered on-site locker rooms, showers, secure bicycle parking, and a Boulder B-cycle station right in front of their building. Way To Go can help evaluate the best commute options for your employees and encourage them to leave their cars at home.

VMware has embraced vanpooling. Using multiple vanpools at any given time, they connect their employees across Boulder and Denver with rides to work.
By partnering with Enterprise to set up a company vanpool, VMware helped employees find their way to and from work. Each vehicle was equipped with free Wi-Fi and a paid HOV toll pass to help employees stay productive and stress-free.
Way To Go can help get your employees connected to nearby vanpools and carpool options.

With headquarters near Union Station in Downtown Denver, DaVita is in the perfect spot for green commuting.
DaVita encouraged a green mobility culture by offering a free RTD EcoPass for all team members at their Denver headquarters campus.
