Desired outcomes

The region’s continuous investments in infrastructure support a globally connected economy and offer opportunities for all residents to share and contribute to sustained regional prosperity. Vibrant and thriving communities, accessible and protected natural resources, and diverse cultural amenities are economic assets and make our region a highly desirable place to live, work and raise a family.

Spark Centennial:

Placemaking through community-focused activation

An innovative program launched by the City of Centennial, "Spark Centennial" partners with the community to create experiential events that highlight local businesses and activate shopping centers affected by the changing retail landscape. The program has reinvigorated a vibrant local economy that also builds on the connection between residents and businesses.

Performance measures

Performance measures are critically important in monitoring the region’s progress toward Metro Vision themes and outcomes. They are used to obtain regular measurement of outcomes and results. They also generate reliable data to help local governments and partners evaluate policies, programs and initiatives. As part of its reporting on plan progress toward an efficient and predictable development pattern, DRCOG will use the metrics outlined on the Metro Vision performance measures page.
