Power Ahead Colorado launches heat pump rebate
Power Ahead Colorado, a program of the Denver Regional Council of Governments, is now offering a new $1,500 heat pump rebate for eligible homeowners and businesses across the Denver region. The rebate applies to ENERGY STAR® certified cold-climate heat pumps installed by a verified Power Ahead Colorado contractor and can be combined with other rebates and incentives to further reduce project costs.
Heat pumps provide efficient electric heating and cooling in a single system and can replace both furnaces and air conditioners, including window air-conditioner units. Energy advisors are available by phone and email to answer questions, explain available incentives and help customers determine which upgrades make the most sense for their homes or businesses. Working with a verified contractor also helps ensure customers select the right equipment for long-term comfort and efficiency.
The rebate is part of Power Ahead Colorado's four-year, $40 million investment in making energy upgrades more affordable throughout the Denver region. Customers interested in upgrading their heating and cooling systems can explore rebate eligibility, connect with a verified contractor, or speak with an energy advisor by visiting Power Ahead Colorado.
