Commuters cut solo trips during Go-Tober
Close to 90 businesses across the Denver region took part in the 2025 Go-Tober Challenge, which wrapped up on October 31.
With their employers' encouragement, 1,323 individuals tracked a total of 32,829 eco-friendly commutes by foot, bike, transit, carpool, vanpool and telework. All Go-Tober participants made meaningful contributions to reducing congestion and improving air quality, but special recognition goes to the five organizations that topped the leaderboard in their size categories:
- Regional Air Quality Council (extra small).
- Consor Engineers (small).
- Muller Engineering (medium).
- Town of Castle Rock (large).
- Colorado Department of Transportation (extra large).
The five winning employers will be recognized on Way to Go's social media channels and in a paid media advertisement.
