The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and serves as the chief administrative officer of the organization. The Executive Director is responsible for providing leadership, advice, counsel and assistance to the Board and its committees. A Master's degree in public administration or directly related field and 10 to 12 years of management experience that includes relevant experience at the director and/or executive director level is required. Additional experience in lieu of an advanced degree will also be considered. Along with significant, progressively responsible experience in local, regional, state, federal government administration, knowledge of transportation, urban planning, and aging policy initiatives, while not required, is highly preferred.
