The 2026 Denver Regional Council of Governments awards celebration will highlight the efforts and achievements that make the Denver region a great place to live, work and play. 

The Wednesday, August 26, celebration will honor winners of the Metro Vision Awards, the Distinguished Service Awards, the Way to Go Awards and the John V. Christensen Memorial Award.

Sponsorships: The celebration is possible thanks to the generosity of event sponsors.

Venue: Seawell Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts is located in the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex, on the northwest corner of the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Look for the marquee by the box office to enter.

Bike parking: While there are no designated bike racks on campus, some are located nearby on Champa Street, 14th Street and Arapahoe Street.
