Sunny skies keep Bike to Work Day commuters smiling, pedaling
Colorado sunshine and warm weather welcomed the nearly 19,000 first-time and seasoned cyclists for the 34th Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, June 26. This year’s theme was “Pedal, Smile, Repeat,” and weather and festivities helped commuters to do just that. The premier summer event is hosted by the Way to Go program of the Denver Regional Council of Governments and highlights the health benefits of biking, including reducing air pollution by giving commuters another option instead of driving.
