Request for proposals
The Area Agency on Aging receives federal funding from the Older Americans Act Title III and state Funding for Senior Services to support community-based service programs benefiting older adults aged 60 and older within the AAA’s eight-county region. Funding will be awarded for up to two years beginning on July 1, 2023 and ending on June 30, 2025. The funding is subject to appropriations from the state and federal legislatures and may be reduced or canceled at any time.
To be considered for funding, applicants are required to attend a mandatory training to be conducted via webinar prior to submitting a proposal. Registration for the training can be found here. Information on services eligible for funding, the service area, proposal application and other key items are available on the RFP site.

Request for proposals
The Denver Regional Council of Governments is issuing a request for proposals for transit capital, operating and mobility management projects benefiting older adults, individuals with disabilities and other vulnerable populations in the DRCOG region. Funding available includes the Federal Transit Administration Section 5310 for the Denver-Aurora Large Urbanized Area, DRCOG Human Services Transportation Set-Aside of its Transportation Improvement Program and Older Americans Act and state Funding for Senior Services Transportation. Funding will be awarded starting on July 1, 2023 and ending on June 30, 2024. The funding is subject to appropriations from the state and federal legislatures and may be reduced or canceled at any time.

Calls for Projects
The DRCOG Technical Assisatnce Pilot Program will connect DRCOG member governments with consultant services to reassess previous transportation and land use plans or studies. The program will be funded by DRCOG and $150,000 will be available for the pilot round.
