Submit a nomination

Your community has made the Denver region successful, and its people, places, nonprofits and businesses are essential to achieving the region's vision for the future. The 2024 Denver Regional Council of Governments awards celebration will highlight the efforts and achievements that make the Denver region a great place to live, work and play.

Submit a nomination for this year’s Metro Vision Awards, recommend a regional champion to be considered for the John V. Christensen Memorial Award or recognize a commuting innovator by nominating a person or company for the Way to Go Awards. Nominations are due Tuesday, April 30.

Winners of the Metro Vision and Way to Go awards will be notified in June.

Metro Vision Awards

The Metro Vision Awards recognize excellence, innovation, collaboration and leadership in problem-solving among communities and their partners. The Denver region's shared vision is realized through programs, projects and plans that bring business leaders, elected officials, community advocates and residents together to accomplish more than any partner could achieve alone. Successful nominations for Metro Vision Awards will demonstrate how the project, program or plan:

  • Embraced innovation in its creation or implementation.
  • Serves as a model for other communities.
  • Grew out of the vision and needs of the community.
