Recent data shows that properties near station areas across metro Denver have an excess of parking. Standard guidelines are resulting in a substantial oversupply of parking that results in a higher cost of living, with a disproportionate burden on low-income residents. The findings can be used to better align standards with actual use to ultimately improve public welfare and economic vitality.
