Metro Vision Idea Exchange: Have affordable housing make cents

Colorado communities are taking action on housing affordability. However, many strategies have significant costs for local governments, such as land availability and infrastructure improvements, which challenge implementation.

This Metro Vision Idea Exchange will feature presenters from the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), the City of Wheat Ridge and the Town of Erie. Presenters from the Department of Local Affairs will highlight three funding programs that address housing: Planning Grant Program (IHOP/1271), Strong Communities and More Housing Now. Staff from the City of Wheat Ridge and the Town of Erie will present on their experiences with the Planning Grant Program.

A thirty-minute Q&A session will follow the presentations.
