Updated Framework for Transportation Planning now available

The Denver Regional Council of Governments has recently updated the Framework for Transportation Planning in the Denver Region. The document augments the metropolitan planning agreement by providing an overview of DRCOG, its role in regional transportation planning, and the various transportation planning products, programs and processes in the context of federal, state and regional requirements. The framework additionally shows how the regional process dovetails with individual processes of the Regional Transportation District, and the Colorado Department of Transportation, and interacts with local governments, air quality planning agencies and other participants to accomplish transportation planning in the Denver region. Regional partners, local member governments and interested community members can now use this document to learn about the transportation planning process in the region.
