2020-2023 Transportation Improvement Program Development
Subregional Forums
The DRCOG Board of Directors approved development of a new TIP funding project allocation model to select transportation products in the region. Previously, all eligible applicants submitted TIP applications individually to DRCOG. The new dual approach will split available funds into two allocations: a regional share and a subregional share. For both shares, a subregional forum will be responsible for submitting projects, programs or studies for consideration by the DRCOG Board. Subregions are geographically defined as a county and all the municipalities within. Every DRCOG member government within each county is invited to participate on their subregional forum. CDOT and RTD are invited to participate as non-voting members.Other eligible stakeholders may be invited at the discretion of each subregional forum.
All eight counties in the DRCOG region are holding subregional forums. Links to individual subregional forum meeting agendas and other materials can currently be accessed through the DRCOG calendar.
