Unified Planning Work Program

The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is developed biennially to detail the interrelated surface transportation and development planning activities to be accomplished in the region by DRCOG, CDOT, RTD, and local governments.

The current Fiscal Years 2020-2021 Unified Planning Work Program (Oct. 1, 2019, to Sept. 30, 2021) was adopted in July 2019, and last amended in February 2021.

Draft Fiscal Years 2022-2023 Unified Planning Work Program

Developing the Unified Planning Work Program is how DRCOG plans and documents regional transportation planning work for a two-year period. The document lists all planning activities and tasks that use federal transportation planning funding in the region. It also details other major planning activities performed by local governments and partner agencies.
