Event Details
Jurisdictions planning for growth and development first need a population projection. However, no single approach is well-suited for every jurisdiction in the Denver region. Some planners may need to keep their jurisdiction’s focus on the limitations of future infrastructure, services or water supply. Others may focus on growth-related local objectives from their comprehensive plan. Jurisdictions may be informed by county-, region- and state-level forecasts from Colorado's State Demography Office, or Denver Regional Council of Governments' small-area forecast.
