The need for socially-distant outdoor activity has sparked an increase in the implementation and expansion of shared street programs. Success of these programs has allowed for more outdoor recreation and business at dining and other retail establishments. From policy development to implementation and future expansion plans, this session will highlight the findings and ongoing efforts in Denver, Fort Collins and Olde Town Arvada to adjust street usage for safer, shared outdoor spaces.
