In October, the Denver Regional Council of Governments Board of Directors adopted the Complete Streets Toolkit to guide local and regional planners in developing safe and comfortable transportation for all modes and all users. The Complete Streets Toolkit is the first region-wide plan of its kind, established and reviewed by a steering committee of representatives from each local jurisdiction. DRCOG hopes the Complete Streets Toolkit will inspire decision-makers in envisioning inclusive and equitable modes of transportation.
Along with the Complete Streets Toolkit, DRCOG staff created an ArcGIS StoryMap as a companion resource. The story map introduces the toolkit, describes the street typology and provides context around the 10 street types.
