Call for proposals opens for 2019-2021 aging services funds

The DRCOG Area Agency on Aging (AAA) receives federal Older Americans Act Title III funds and State Funding for Senior Services funds to support community-based service programs that benefit adults age 60 and older within the AAA’s eight-county region. Funding is awarded annually for up to two years beginning on July 1, 2019, and ending on June 30, 2021. This funding is subject to appropriations from the state and federal legislatures and may be reduced or canceled at any time.

To be considered for funding, applicants are required to attend a mandatory training at our office Dec. 12 or via webinar Dec. 14 prior to submitting a proposal. Registration for these trainings is available on the RFP site, as is information on the services that are eligible for funding, the service area, proposal application and other key items.
