AAA announces opening of RFP for transit projects for older adults

The Denver Regional Council of Governments is issuing a request for proposals for transit capital, operating and mobility management projects benefiting older adults, individuals with disabilities and other vulnerable populations in the DRCOG region. Funding available includes the Federal Transit Administration Section 5310 for the Denver-Aurora Large Urbanized Area, DRCOG Human Services Transportation Set-Aside of its Transportation Improvement Program and Older Americans Act and state Funding for Senior Services Transportation. Funding will be awarded starting on July 1, 2023 and ending on June 30, 2024. The funding is subject to appropriations from the state and federal legislatures and may be reduced or canceled at any time.

To be considered for funding, applicants are required to attend a mandatory training to be conducted via Zoom prior to submitting a proposal. Register now for the training.
