Advances in communications and computer technology aren't just for your phones or computers. They also are being used to improve transportation.

These transportation technologies, called Intelligent Transportation Systems or ITS, are being used to improve the safety, efficiency, dependability and cost-effectiveness of our regional transportation system. DRCOG serves as a forum for the development of ITS projects in our region. DRCOG maintains several planning documents to promote and guide the implementation of transportation operations improvements, using both technology and regional partnerships.
