How did you hear about our Vanpool program?
Vanpools are a good choice for groups of commuters who live and work near each other and travel more than 15 miles to work one-way. Passengers share the ride and pay a low monthly fare to the designated driver in a minivan seating up to six, or a full-size van seating up to 12. The Vanpool program is a partnership between DRCOG and the Regional Transportation District (RTD).
How vanpool works:
- A group of up to 12 people share a ride to work in a van dedicated to their commute, for a monthly fare based on the mileage and number of passengers in the van.
- Vanpool riders volunteer to drive, track maintenance, submit paperwork and collect fares.
- Volunteer vanpool drivers must have clean motor vehicle records, receive insurance approvals and sign vanpool agreements.
The program provides the van, maintenance and repairs, insurance, fuel, bike racks and the Guaranteed Ride Home.
