DRCOG's Metro Vision 2035 Plan promotes a balanced, multimodal transportation system that includes bicycle and pedestrian facilities. Pedestrian and bicycle planning efforts at DRCOG strive to bring communities together for regional cooperation and collaboration.

The Denver Regional Bicycle Map contains on and off-street bicycle facilities within the region. This interactive map has a feature that allows the user to type in their to and from destinations and view the different facilities available in the area. View the map.

Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety in the Denver Region analyzes collisions in the Denver region between a pedestrian or bicyclist and motor vehicles, and identifies mitigation strategies to prevent or reduce pedestrian and bicycle crashes.

Governor Signs "End Hit and Run Loophole" Bill (June 2012)
Bicycle and pedestrian fatalities are four times more likely to be the result of a hit and run than other roadway crashes. CO House Bill 1084 increases the possible penalties for leaving the scene of a serious bodily injury crash. For more information, click here.
